Itinerary (7 Days / 6 Nights)

Day 1: NJP/Bagdogra to Lava (via Gorubathan/Pedong)

• Arrival and scenic drive through lush tea gardens and pine forests.
• En route halt at Pedong Monastery and Rikisum Viewpoint – both soaked in history and beauty.
• Check-in at Lava. Evening at leisure in the peaceful mountain air.
• Overnight Stay: Lava

Day 2: Explore Lava – Neora Valley Jungle Trek & Local Sightseeing

• Lava Monastery (Jamgyong Kongtrul Monastery): Soulful chants and stunning views.
• Neora Valley National Park: Walk amidst one of the oldest bio-diverse zones. Spot exotic birds, red pandas, or just feel the forest breathing.
• Tiffin Dara Trek (Optional): A short hike to an epic Kanchenjunga sunrise.

Day 3: Lava to Rishop and Lolegaon

Day 4: Lolegaon to Darjeeling (via Kalimpong)

Day 5: Darjeeling to Dawaipani & Tinchuley

Day 6: Visit Tabakoshi & Mirik

• Return to Darjeeling or stay overnight in Mirik.

Day 7: Optional Sandakphu Sunrise OR Return Journey

• Sandakphu Excursion (Optional): For trekking lovers or 4x4 jeep adventurers — see four of the five highest peaks in the world from one place (Everest, Lhotse, Makalu & Kanchenjunga).
• Return to NJP/Bagdogra.
